It is so easy to get to Kiltearn House now with low cost airlines competing for traffic in and out of Inverness airport. For those who prefer not to fly then there is the railway or the A9 trunk road. Numerous trains run to Inverness from all over the UK, most changing at Glasgow or Edinburgh. If you arrive by plane or rail there are a number of car hire companies based in and around Inverness.

Easyjet fly to Inverness from: London (Luton), Gatwick, Belfast (International) and Bristol.
Ryanair fly to Aberdeen from Dublin.
Flybe fly to Aberdeen from Norwich and Belfast (City)
BMI fly to Inverness from Amsterdam, Belfast (City), Brussels, Dublin, Leeds Bradford, Heathrow and Manchester

Driving Directions to Kiltearn House

From the airport or rail station head for the A9 then:- From Inverness:

Take the (A9 North) Wick/Thurso road until you see the turn off for Evanton approximately half a mile past the Storehouse of Foulis (+/- 15 miles from Inverness and not far after crossing Cromarty Firth on the low level bridge).
Turn off left here and go under a Railway Bridge, continue up this road until you see a sign for Kiltearn Burial Ground, turn right here and continue down this single track road.
Pass the small cottage on your right and continue on until you see Kiltearn House which will be the next house you will come to on your left.
