A credit/debit card number is needed to confirm the reservation. Upon booking, a deposit will be payable equivalent to the cost of one night's stay, with the balance taken at 6am on the morning of your arrival. For guests who arrive and book in person for the same day, full payment will be taken up front.
When you book with us you’ll receive an automatic confirmation from our online booking system. Please use this opportunity to ensure all details are correct- it is your responsibility to contact us immediately if any details are incorrect. A copy of your receipt will be emailed to you upon departure, with a printed version available upon request.
If you prefer, it is possible to book with us over the phone. Please call 01349 830617.
If you have made your booking via a third party website (eg Booking.com), your contract of booking falls under Kiltearn Guest House and therefore our detailed Terms & Conditions published on our own website will take precedence and you are bound by these automatically. It is more cost effective to book direct to avoid commission fees.
Should you wish to cancel, please notify us at least 2 weeks in advance. Please note, if a cancellation occurs within 14 days of arrival the deposit will not be refunded. We strongly advise that you have travel insurance to cover you if you need to cancel. We reserve the right to charge your card in the event of a no-show or should the booking be cancelled within the 2 week time period. By entering into this contract you are authorising us to make these charges without additional consent being required.
Lost Property
Any lost property items will be disposed of at the end of the six month period after the visit took place. We will do our best to contact you and return to the rightful owner. We hold no responsibility for the loss or damage of your item whilst in transit.
Insurance
It is your responsibility to ensure that any travel insurance cover you have provides adequate cover for your needs and for the duration of your stay. If you cancel your booking, you will be asked to contact your insurance provider so please ensure you have some.
