Built in 1894, the Victorian former manse is the perfect setting for an intimate wedding. Set in a beautiful countryside location directly on the coast, where you can enjoy magnificent sea views across the Cromarty Firth.

We can cater for up to 20 guests inside the house and for larger numbers we have the space outside for you to hire a marquee for up to 50 guests. You can enjoy the house as if it is yourown: the bedrooms, reception rooms and grounds are all yours for the big day.




We stayed at the hotel as part of a socially distanced wedding and it was the perfect reception venue. The hospitality was excellent and the setting was beautiful. I would highly recommend it.

We are a family-run 4 Star Gold accredited Visit Scotland and Michelin rated Guest House offering hotel standards with a personal touch.

Buffet-style spread? No problem! 3 course meal? Absolutely.

We pride ourselves in using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible for that authentic Scottish experience and to support small businesses. We also have excellent catering contacts who follow the same values.

Our friendly team of staff are always on hand to help. We aim to offer a simplified process of arranging a lovely wedding, where couples can choose exactly what they would like assistance with and what they may like to arrange themselves. We proudly support local businesses and are more than happy to co-ordinate with selected vendors for catering and other provisions.

Our best night in the highlands. This place is exactly what you envision when thinking of a house in the highlands. It’s cosy, warm, relaxing, in the middle of nature. You can sit by the fireplace and enjoy the views. The host is very attentive and very nice. The breakfast was lovely too. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and a lot of attention is given to little details such as having a nice piece of lemon cake for each guest in the rooms. And it makes a big difference.

The Highlands is a place that just keeps on giving. We've been lucky enough to live in this beautiful part of the world for over 10 years and continue to discover something new to this day.

During lockdown, many of us have grown to appreciate what's on our doorstep and Ross-shire offers some truly spectacular scenery. What better place for a wedding shoot than with the glistening backdrop of the Cromarty Firth, or the picturesque Loch Glass, for example?
